Creator/Writer of RTÉjr hit series Dig In Diner and Mr Mender and the Chummyjiggers, I'm passionate about writing for young audiences. Some of my screenwriting includes shows such as Twigín, The Adventures of Muc, Spraoi, Tell Me A Story, Story Time, Pic a Story and Shhh It’s Quiet Time for RTÉjr and available to view on the RTE player http://www.rte.ie/player. I was a contributing story writer for Irish Soap Fair City Series 27, 28 and 29. Animation is a passion of mine and I thoroughly enjoy creating new characters and stories in animated worlds. I specialise in preschool animation. I have written for two seasons of Mya Go (Motion Pictures and Pirhana Bar), and one season of Berry Bees (Atlantyca Entertainment, SLR Productions, Telegael, Cosmos-Maya Productions) and Jessy and Nessy (Jam Media and Amazon Studios). I enjoy developing pitching formats and treatments for this audience.

I began my early career as an in house producer/director with TG4, working on young people's programs. Finding my passion, I focused my attention on writing and drama qualifications which allowed me to create engaging and entertaining content for young audiences as a performer and a writer.
I've always loved performing. Following my Post graduate Diploma studies in Acting at the National University of Ireland Galway, I continued my training in London and obtained a Certificate in Screen Acting from Metropolitan Film School in Ealing. I have re-voiced many animation characters for TG4 over the past 10 years and I've enjoyed several roles as a children's performer/broadcaster on RTÉjr and TG4. Food education is important to me and I host several cookery shows on TG4 and RTÉjr and a food education (Pot Wonders) podcast on RTÉjr Radio.
